Biography

The Story of the Echo

Born into a lineage of silence, Julian Thorne discovered the piano not as an instrument, but as an extension of the nervous system. His journey from the conservatory halls of Vienna to the world's most prestigious stages has been marked by a singular pursuit: the sound of the space between notes.

Known for his "asymmetrical brilliance," Thorne's interpretations of Rachmaninoff and Debussy have been described as auditory architecture. He does not simply play; he constructs landscapes of sound that vibrate long after the final key is released.
